To TIAG Contacts:

 We are all, no matter where we live or practice, affected by devastation of a magnitude of that caused by Typhoon Haiyan.  For some, including our friends at our TAGLaw firm in Columbus, Ohio, Carlile, Patchen & Murphy, the impact is close and significant.  Here is what they told when we thanked partner Brigid Heid for her contribution to TAG Foundation:

 "My pleasure.  One of our own, Maria Guthrie, has family in Tacloban and our firm also took up private donations to help them.  So far, all family members, but one, are accounted for.  Many of their homes have been destroyed though.  Keep them in your thoughts and prayers."

 Our many thanks to individuals, like Brigid, and firms who have contributed.  Some in creative and generous ways like our New York member Herrick, Feinstein, which held a special "jeans day" on Friday where employees could wear jeans to work if they contributed $10 to TAG Foundation in support of Philippines relief.  The firm matched the employee contributions and TAG Foundation received a check for more than $8,000.  Lindquist & Vennum is holding their "jeans day" on Nov. 26th and other firms are planning similar events.
