The collection of Guides is located in the public News & Resources sections of the TAGLaw and TIAG websites, providing easy access for members, clients and prospective clients. The latest addition is a Doing Business Guide for Poland, submitted by TIAG member Perfecta Audit Services.
3. BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY
Uruguay: International Bid - Interconnection to Brazil's Electricity Grid
UTE, Uruguay’s State-owned electricity company, has announced an international bid process with the aim of interconnecting the Uruguayan electricity network with the Brazilian electrical grid. The bid refers to the installation and supply of an electricity line of 500kV, running up to Melo in the border with Brazil. The bid would also contemplate the installation and supply of aerial electricity lines of 500kV and 525 kV in the Uruguayan territory. The bidding terms have just been released, and offers can be presented up to January 12, 2011.
