1. Best Practices in Lateral Integration

TIAG North American Best Practices Call

On Thursday, February 14th at 4:00 EST, internationally acclaimed speaker and expert consultant on integrating lateral hires, David Freeman, will address TIAG members on Best Practices in Lateral Integration.

In today's market, firms must ensure their new laterals generate significant revenue as quickly as possible. This program will explore the roles firms and laterals must play to make their new union a success. Firms must integrate laterals into the culture by creating opportunities for their success. Laterals must methodically pursue work from their existing contacts, develop new business, and proactively engage in cross-selling inside their new firm. Like any successful collaboration, it takes chemistry, commitment, and ongoing effort on both sides to make it work. David Freeman, J.D., an expert on lateral integration and business development, will provide a framework and practical tactics for helping laterals maximize their revenue. By the end of the talk, attendees will have learned approaches to integrate lateral hires more quickly into the firm.
